We just had a Verizon power outage that affected our Cape location.  We were told power would be out for hours.  Almost as quickly as one of our users informed me we were out, Hugh Durkin called me to tell me LSI saw we were down.  When I told him it may be for awhile, he offered to forward the numbers to cell phones.  Luckily, the power was restored almost immediately, but The Press appreciated the responsiveness and assistance by LSI that would have enabled our business to keep flowing.  It's times like this that reinforces the decision we made to go with LSI.

Line Systems has been there with outstanding service and support every time Teikoku USA has called upon them.  We recently moved, and the challenge was to move the headquarters for Teikoku USA while ensuring our remote locations experienced minimal downtime.  At the same time, with LSI's help, we migrated from an in-house PBX system to an LSI hosted phone system.  LSI was able to plan and manage the transition with minimal outage time on all counts.  Our network was up and running, and our phones worked on the first try.  LSI has a knowledgeable and friendly staff of experts.  They are a tough act to follow.

We use LSI for MPLS from each of our sites back to our corporate office in Philadelphia.  Data connections for each office make VoIP calls over the MPLS network, using eFax, and we have upgraded two of our suburban sites to fiber.  Our WAN is pretty complicated, but the structure allows us to save significant money on monthly PRI costs and individual phone systems for each office.  LSI was very good about working with our phone system provider to make it happen.  We have been live with LSI for about 2.5 years and are very happy with them.  The service runs well, and when there are outages, trouble reports, or we have a need for a service modification, LSI is very responsive, 24/7.  The high level of customer service and steady reliability at very good prices really makes my job easier.

The main business driver prompting the need for a scalable, high bandwidth networking solution was our new records keeping system that requires all of our physician sites to connect to the main hospital along with getting records from the hospital as well as the backup center.  The customized solution also allowed us to consolidate all of our service provider invoices to one Line System's invoice.  As an added benefit, the unique scalability of the solution also allows us to use our network when we provide free screenings to members of the local communities that we serve.
