Can I change the name associated with an extension if one of the employees leaves?

Yes. Depending on the features you currently use in your system, you will have to change one or all of the following in your administrator portal:

  • Line names (Lines-Individual Line-Settings-Account-Personal Details-Edit-Name)
  • Phone name (Phones-Descriptions)
  • If you utilize a directory from your auto attendant, you will also want to re-record the name of the associated extension. Detailed instructions are found in the Admin CommPortal Guide.
